Hong Kong-based global consumer goods exporter Li & Fung Limited, is
enhancing its supply chain management capabilities with a revolutionary portal to support its extensive supplier network. Provided by ecVision, Li & Fung has deployed a supplier portal that will be used by vendors and internal sourcing teams as they collaborate on global supply chain management and shipment tasks.

The web-based, role-based application serves as a common platform to standardize trade and customs documents, consolidate shipment data, and provide a means of collaboration between the vendors and the agents. New Audit and Inspect Modules Help Manage Compliance
ecVision announced that it is offering new functional modules that extend the capabilities in its Product Lifecycle Execution™ product, XpressCommerce. The Audit and Inspect modules enable retail and private label manufacturers to collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure factory/supplier compliance, product quality and technical standards.
XpressCommerce® is a web-based solution that connects retailers to their supplier network and delivers the key functions of product lifecycle management (PLM) and supply chain execution (SCE) systems in a single solution with centralized data repositories. The key functionality in the system enables retailers to manage capacity and raw material reservations, global sourcing and costing negotiations, orders, track production and shipment milestones.

Fung Capital USA Completes Investment in ecVision

Last week, ecVision announced an investment from Fung Capital USA, a private equity firm that invests primarily in consumer product and supply chain technology companies. Fung Capital acquired all non-management shares in this transaction.
Fung Capital is the private equity partnership of Victor and William Fung, the Chairman and Group Managing Director of Li & Fung Ltd. The investment illustrates ecVision's value to the retail supply chain and will leverage the international business network and expertise of the Li & Fung Group, a global leader in sourcing and supply chain management for major brands and retailers.

Zero Percent Financing Offered on Software for Retailers
